District-Wide Early Release Reminder – Friday, December 19
We would like to remind our families that Friday, December 19, 2025, will be an Early Release Day for all Wakulla County Schools as we begin Holiday Break.
Thank you for your partnership and for helping plan ahead as we wrap up the semester and prepare for early dismissal.

It’s official: our school administrators have been fully transformed into cartoon elves, courtesy of the talented artists in Ms. Page’s class. The pointy shoes, the tiny hats, the dramatic elf grins… it’s all there, and it’s all priceless. The artwork is complete and on full display. Our admins have never looked more holiday-ready, or more hilariously unrecognizable.

Our students jingled all the genres tonight! ❄️🎶 What amazing performances by 3rd-5th Graders and our Warrior Voices Choir!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our All Pro Dad Event this morning! 🍩

Mr. Wheeler and Mrs. Rodgers were pied in the face by Mr. Maldonado's 4th Graders! They brought in the most canned food donations during our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Pie tasting with 3rd grade! Families were invited to come and join their students who tasted 3 different pies, then completed a reading/writing activity and math activity! Thanks to all who came and donated!

Sweet treats + even sweeter 3rd graders! 🥧💛

Last week in Creative Club, the students took on several Thanksgiving-themed challenges. First, they built a house or a fence out of Jenga pieces to help “Mr. Turkey,” who hoped he wouldn’t get eaten this year. They also created a turkey or a turkey leg out of LEGOs and were encouraged to challenge themselves by using a timer. Next, they engineered catapults using craft sticks and plastic spoons, then launched soft pom-pom balls across the room. Finally, the students worked together to transfer pom-pom balls into a cup using only string and rubber bands—no hands allowed!

The best adjectives are thought of while eating PIE!

This is what the students in Shadeville Elementary School’s Enrichment Program have been working on. What a wonderful way to conclude the fall session—creating paper-mâché volcanoes! Their eruptions looked fantastic, and the students did an outstanding job collaborating as a team.
