Check out our 4th graders enjoying an Arbor Day presentation from our friends at Talquin Electric! Representatives from Talquin led a questions and answers session, engaging our students in fun and educational discussions. Each 4th grade student received a Loblolly Pine seedling to plant at home, along with a pamphlet on tree care, an energy-saving coloring book with crayons, and a bookmark to support their weekly AR reading. We are so grateful to Talquin for their generosity and can’t wait to welcome them back next year!

Last week, something mysterious happened beneath the surface of our school… 👀 That’s right — it was Underground Spirit Week for Teachers & Staff 🕶️🕺
No announcements. Just quiet acts of school spirit popping up like secret agents in cardigans.
From undercover theme days to staff members casually showing up suspiciously on-theme without ever saying a word… the commitment was impressive, the confusion was real, and the vibes were immaculate 😂
Huge shoutout to our amazing teachers and staff for bringing the fun, the humor, and the “did we plan this or is it a coincidence?” energy. You make this place magical — even when the spirit is underground.

Fifth grade had a fun end to the first semester! Shadeville’s fifth grade students made a holiday craft with their families. They created ice cream cone Christmas trees together! 🎄 While waiting to make their trees, students and families got to participate in various activities that promoted collaboration and bonding. We hope everyone had a great time coming together and celebrating the end to the first semester!
