Wakulla High School was excited to welcome Molly BoWell back to campus this week! A 2021 graduate, former Miss Wakulla, and now a realtor with Blue Water Realty, Molly also runs a growing local podcast and social media presence. She shared valuable, real-world tips with our CTE Journalism and Digital Media students on how to conduct strong, authentic interviews. Experiences like this bring learning to life, and our students walked away with insight they can use right now. Thank you, Molly, for pouring back into the War Eagle family! #WakullaHighSchool #CTE #DigitalStorytelling #PoweredbyPublicEducation

Wakulla High School’s Academic Team competed this past weekend in the Commissioner’s Academic Challenge—Florida’s premier academic tournament held in Orlando—and brought home an incredible 2nd place finish!

This marks the highest placement for Wakulla since finishing as runner-up in the 1980s, making this achievement even more special for our War Eagle family.

Congratulations to team members Matthew Thaxton, Ronin Taylor, Gavin Mullins, and Troy Thaxton for representing Wakulla with excellence.

Shout out to our Academic Team sponsors Bill Taylor and Trey Thaxton and a heartfelt thank you to those whose generous support helped make this opportunity possible—they couldn’t have done it without you.

Wakulla High School’s Building Trades & Construction students are continuing to bring their playhouse project to life through our Architecture & Construction CTE program.

Since our last update, electricity has been installed, the structure is now being stained and roofed, and water installation is up next.

Under the guidance of Mr. Hicks, these students aren’t just building a structure—they’re gaining real-world experience in construction, problem-solving, and craftsmanship that will carry far beyond the classroom.

This is what it looks like when students take pride in their work and see a project through from the ground up.

We can’t wait to see the finished product. Keep an eye out for what they will be doing with the playhouse! It might just make it's way home to a member of our community! Go War Eagles!
