Wakulla High Is Celebrating CTE Month with another special spotlight on our Wakulla High School Building Trades & Construction Program! 🔨🏗️

With the guidance of instructor Mr. Hicks, WHS students are working hard to build a fully functional playhouse. When completed, it will feature not only running water, but also electricity.

This project is more than just building structure; it’s an opportunity for students to apply their skills, collaborate as a team, and take pride in creating something meaningful from the ground up.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication and talent these future trade professionals bring to the workshop every day. Keep On Bonding Building Bros!🦅✨

February is Career and Technical Education Month — and Wakulla High School is soaring!

Here are some facts:
📊 2023–2024 School Year: 647 industry certifications earned
📊 2024–2025 School Year: 764 industry certifications earned
📈 First semester 2024–2025: 241 certifications
🚀 First semester 2025–2026: 322 certifications — and counting

That momentum matters.

The first banner you see represents students who have already earned industry-recognized credentials this school year. And the empty banner beside it? That’s space reserved for the many more certifications still to come this school year! Each certification reflects skill mastery, workforce readiness, and students choosing to rise to the challenge. It reflects teachers who push, guide, and believe. It reflects a school district committed to preparing students not just for graduation — but for what comes next.

War Eagles, we see your diligence.
We see your determination.
And we are still counting.
Keep flying high. ❤️💙
