Wakulla High School Athletes, register for the ECG heart screening on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at Wakulla Middle School (22 Jean Drive, Crawfordville, 32327) today!
Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, Florida’s Second Chance Act will require certain student-athletes to complete an ECG screening before participating in school athletics.
Who Must Obtain an ECG:
•All incoming 9th-grade student-athletes (2026-27)
•Any student in grades 10–12 who has never participated in an FHSAA-sanctioned sports
•Returning athletes are not required but strongly encouraged to obtain an ECG. The goal is to identify undetected cardiac risk factors and enhance athlete safety.
Screenings are $20, and financial assistance is available for families who need it. Options will be provided during the registration process.

Wakulla High School is seeking a Cosmetology Instructor with experience in Facial Specialty to join our Career and Technical Education team.

WHS Parking Permit Information
Wakulla High School parking permits will be available for purchase on the following dates:
Senior Parking Permits Only
July 21–22 | 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Junior & Senior Parking Permits
July 27–30 | 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Parking spaces are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students must complete the parking permit application as part of the process. The cost is $40, and students will receive a hanging parking permit.

A WHS parking permit is required to park on campus and will be enforced beginning the first day of school.
Additional parking details, including traffic flow and student parking information, will be shared closer to the start of the school year.
Sophomore parking permits will be sold at a later date, so stay tuned!

In celebration of America's 250th birthday, all district offices, summer school programs will be closed on Thursday, July 2, 2026, and Friday, July 3, 2026.
We will resume normal summer business hours on Monday, July 6, 2026. We wish our students, staff, families, and community a safe and joyful Fourth of July weekend!

On June 24, 2026, the first Owner-Architect-Contractor meeting with Allstate Construction was held to review early project progress, upcoming activities, safety protocols, site logistics, and the overall construction schedule of Phase 1. Currently, Phase 1 remains on track, weather permitting. Safety fencing is now in place around demolition and construction areas, parking preparations continue, and families will receive a traffic pattern drawing before the start of the 2026-2027 school year!
During this first phase, drop-off and pick-up traffic patterns will remain the same for returning War Eagles.

Current seat holders have until June 30 to secure their seats. Any unpaid reserved seats will be released to the public on July 1st.
