🥇The Wakulla High track and field team found success at Districts.🥇
We had the most District Champions for our program ever at last week's District meet with six 1st place finishes!🔥🏆

Trace Callaghan won the Boys 100m, Jacob Kinsey won the Boys Discus, David Whitaker won both the Boys Long and Triple Jump, Sian Garrett won the Girls Shot Put, and Amariyah Donaldson won the Girls High Jump.
We also had a good showing in the 4x100 relays taking 2nd place in both the Boys and Girls.
The Boys team consisted of Trace Callaghan, Andrew Nelson, Bryce Manning, and Au'vion Thomas.
The Girls team consisted of Cherish Bolen, Kiley Turner, Akayla Joaceus-Graham, and Antrice Bradwell.

All 1st and 2nd place finishers have earned a spot at the Regional Track meet in Pensacola on Friday, May 1st.

We also had two 3rd place finishes in the Girls 4x800 and the Girls 4x400. Emmalee Knutson, Kaitlyn Smith, Salome Hines, and Laila Francis were an amazing team for the 4x800. Antrice Bradwell, Kiley Turner, Akayla Joaceus-Graham, and London Waymon also did amazing with the 4x400. Our girls 4x400 may have also earned a spot in the Regional Meet based off their time. Boys finished 3rd as a team while the Girls finished 4th.

Amazing job athletes! Good luck this Friday! We are cheering you on!

Go War Eagles!!!💙❤️

To all our volunteers at Wakulla High School, Thank you! You show up for us—and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you.
Wakulla High School’s Athletic Director and Principal recently received a message from Middleburg High School praising our girls softball team—and it’s one worth sharing.

During a recent game, Middleburg hosted “Ella Night” in honor of a brave 4-year-old battling leukemia. Our team didn’t just show up to compete; they showed up with compassion.

Alongside Middleburg’s softball team, they helped create a tunnel for Ella, stood with her during a special moment of prayer, and helped make the night unforgettable for her and her family.

As shared by Middleburg’s Athletic Director:
“If you could have seen Ella’s face, she was smiling from ear to ear, and your team was a huge part of making that happen.”

Moments like this remind us that athletics are about more than wins and losses; they are about character and community.

We are incredibly proud of these young ladies and their coaches for representing Wakulla with such heart.

Students should report to 1st period, then head to their assigned testing location.
Not sure where to go? Mrs. Sarvis in the library is here to help.

May 1 is Commitment Day—and at Wakulla High, we’re celebrating every path.

Seniors, wear something on Friday, May 1st, that represents your next step—college, military, career, or beyond—and show us where you’re committed to heading.

We’re proud of you, War Eagles. 💙❤️

For National School Library Month, we asked some of our seniors to share their favorite books—and they delivered.

From classics to can’t-put-it-down reads, these are the stories that stuck with them.

Stop by the library, check out a senior pick, and find your next favorite read.

One month from graduation, and today our seniors took a walk down memory lane in the best way. 🎓

During the Annual Senior Cap and Gown Tour, they returned to the very halls where their journey began—visiting elementary and middle schools across the district. Lined with smiling faces, younger students cheered them on, reaching out for high-fives and catching a glimpse of what their own futures can hold.

For our seniors, it was a full-circle moment—seeing former teachers and reflecting on just how far they’ve come.

Moments like this remind us that every step in the journey matters. Today wasn’t just a celebration of where they’re going—it was a powerful reminder of where it all began.
