Wakulla High School is excited to welcome our community to the 2026 Empty Bowls Fundraiser, a special evening combining our Culinary Arts, Art, and Guitar programs for a night of creativity, community, and compassion.
Guests will enjoy homemade soups, fresh bread, and desserts, all prepared by our WHS Culinary students.

On Friday, January 23, representatives from Lively Technical College and Four Star Freightliner visited Wakulla High School’s Diesel Technology program to connect with students about training and career opportunities in the diesel and heavy-truck industry.
A Freightliner HR representative spoke with students about workforce needs and career pathways, highlighting how hands-on training and industry-recognized modules provide real-world experience and a clear path from high school to technical certification and employment.
We’re proud of the strong partnership between Wakulla High School, Lively Technical College, and Four Star Freightliner, and the opportunities it creates for our students.

Wakulla County Schools will be hosting a Volunteer Orientation via Zoom on January 29, 2026 at 2:45PM for any current or prospective volunteers who still need to complete the required orientation.
Important attendance note:

Congratulations to our Winter Guard team on not only placing 2nd in their round, but 2nd overall out of 42 teams at the FFCC Premiere Innovation, their first competition of the season!

Wakulla High School’s Culinary Arts students played an important role in the success of the Wakulla County Schools inaugural Teacher of the Year Gala, preparing and serving the meal for over 200 guests.
Under the guidance of their Instructor Ryan Warner, these students showcased not only their culinary skills, but also the teamwork, responsibility, and attention to detail that define the Hospitality and Tourism program at Wakulla High School. From preparation to service, they represented our school and program with excellence.
The spirit of collaboration was on full display throughout the evening, with Michele Falk, principal of Wakulla High School, jumping in alongside students to lend a hand and support the team during the event.
Opportunities like this allow students to apply classroom learning in real-world settings while serving their community—an experience that builds confidence and prepares them for future careers in the culinary and hospitality fields.
We are proud of our Culinary students for their hard work and for helping make this special night a meaningful celebration for educators across Wakulla County Schools. đź‘Ź
