There is probably no factor more important to successful school progress than regular school attendance.

Students from the ages of 6-18 are mandated by state law to attend school.

Parents/Guardians are required to complete an All-Day Absentee Form to submit to the attendance office within 48 hours of the of the student’s return to school for the absence to be considered excused. The All-Day Absentee Form may also be emailed to our attendance office or uploaded directly into FOCUS through the parent portal. Any attempt to excuse an absence after 48 hours will result in the absence being unexcused. All student make up work for excused absences will be accepted in adherence to the WCSB Code of Student Conduct and WHs Handbook Attendance policy.

Students who miss more than 10 minutes of a class will be considered absent from that class.
