Haunted HOCO Dance 2023

Date: Saturday, Oct 14th

Where: Football Practice Field

Cost: $10

Can out of district dates come? NO, Only WHS students are permitted to attend.

Tickets go on sale Monday, October 2-- Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Ms. Shiver's Room, Room 301 on the Science Hallway during 5th Period ONLY. Please do not interrupt her class. 

Additionally, Pink Activity passes will not be accepted for the homecoming dance.

Attention Seniors: 

Secure your spot on the senior trip with only a $100 deposit. Pay your deposit to Mrs. Colvin in Room 204.

We will go to Grad Bash at Universal Studios and Island of Adventures in Orlando on Friday 4/12. Other activities are being planned and the final cost is TBD, estimated total cost is $350-450. 

Deposits are due by November 3, after that you go on a waiting list. 

**We need a head count to get price quotes for hotel rooms, charter buses and additional theme park tickets.

If you earned A or A/B Honor Roll at the end of the year last year, you have received your 1st Nine Weeks Activities Pass! Congratulations on being a successful student!

These passes are good for JV and Varsity home games, student event nights and good for only the student on the pass. Unfortunately, they are NOT good for football games, FHSAA play-off games, and general public events. We thank you for your understanding of these stipulations.

The 1st Nine Weeks pass expires at the end of the nine weeks and new ones will be distributed for the 2nd Nine weeks! Keep up the good work War Eagles! 

The Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) is a progress monitoring system that is administered three times per year to track your student’s progress in learning the Benchmarks of Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards throughout this school year.

Please refer to the FAST PM Parent Letter for more information regarding the first administration (PM1) of the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) ELA Reading and Mathematics assessments.

As the school year approaches, please be aware of the possibility of school lunch menus changing due to the worldwide issue of supply and demand.
