The Angel Closet
What is the Angel Closet?
The Angel Closet at Wakulla High School provides essential items to support Wakulla High School students in times of needs. First established by retired Guidance Counselor Sue Hutchins, the mission of the closet is to ensure that every student has access to basic necessities so they can focus on learning and thriving.
Requests are handled with care and confidentiality to ensure dignity and respect for every student.

What we provide?
The Angel Closet offers a variety of essential items and resources to support students and families. Availability may vary based on donations, but may include:
Clothing (new and gently used)
Everyday wear, school-appropriate clothing, leggings, sweatpants, t-shirtsShoes
Sneakers, dress shoes, and seasonal footwearNew Undergarments
Socks and underwear (new items only)Backpacks & School Supplies
Notebooks, pencils, hygiene kits, and classroom essentialsPersonal Hygiene Products
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, and other daily necessitiesFeminine Care Products
Pads, tampons, personal care productsOuterwear & Weather-Appropriate Items

How to donate?
The Angel Closet is made possible through the generosity of our Wakulla community. Your donations directly support students by providing essential items that help them feel confident, prepared, and cared for each day.
Donation Drop-Off Information
Donations may be dropped off at the school’s front office during the following times:
Monday–Thursday
7:15 AM – 2:01 PM
To ensure a smooth process, we kindly ask that all donations be brought during these designated hours.
