Program of Study

This course introduces students to the Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Program, a citizenship program for high school students in the ninth through twelfth grades. The course is designed to develop personal, academic, and leadership skills essential for college and professional careers. Leadership, self reliance, self-discipline, goal setting, and communication skills are emphasized. JROTC encourages students to become involved, informed and responsible members of the community.

Boot camp is strongly encouraged, but not required. Extracurricular participation is required.
