Color guard is a year-long sport of the arts. It incorporates dance, gymnastics, flag, rifle, sabre, and poms. Color guard is also a class that will be on your schedule for 7th period, called Eurhythmics.

During the fall season, we are also a drill team that performs pom routines on the sidelines at varsity football games. We then get to perform on the field during the half-time show dancing and spinning flag, rifle, and sabre. We attend all varsity football games, pep rallies, and many other events.

During the winter, we are in our winter guard season which is completely indoor. The entire team participates in an ensemble show that we compete with against other schools all across Florida and Georgia. We, on average, attend 4-5 competitions and participate in FFCC Championships at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center. Each student also gets to complete a solo during the winter guard season. Every soloist gets to perform at the FBA District Performance Assessment and has the opportunity to go to state, or even compete against others with their solo.

During the spring season, the team works to create duets, trios, and quartets for our annual Spring Recital.

Over summer, we have multiple weeks of camps at Wakulla High School and Florida State University.

Be on the lookout for announcements and flyers on tryout dates. Auditions usually occur in April.
